Who comes to mind? 🗓️ Workshop in one week!

I bet we all know someone who...

…would like to make art but thinks they aren’t “good enough”
…wants more time in their life to create
…could use a break
…is captivated by horses

Who comes to mind? They’re exactly the kind of person I created my workshops for. Forward this email to them and let them know you’re thinking of them. ❤️

And if you came to mind, I hope you’ll join me!

One week from today - spaces are limited

Online Workshop: Mindful Art for Horse Lovers

Wed, Aug 26, 7–9 pm ET (see in your time zone) • $50

Are you drawn to horses? Deepen your connection to horses in a creative way! Many of us passionately drew horses as a child, but as an adult feel like we’re not “good enough” to make art. In this workshop we’ll change the script and introduce creative practices that help bring back that child-like joy in making art. All the while we’ll explore how mindfulness and art can bring us closer to the gifts horses have to bring.

No art experience or horse experience required!

TOGETHER, WE’LL…

  • Deepen our connection to horses through unique art practices.
  • Unlock intuition and creativity in a welcoming, supportive space.
  • Let go of perfectionism to embrace the joy of creating.

THE SUPPORTIVE ONLINE ENVIRONMENT

  • Small group size: Limited to 16 participants for a personal and supportive atmosphere.
  • Comfortable participation: Join from home in a familiar setting.
  • Low pressure: You control whether or not you share what you create.
  • Mindful presence: No recordings—just a live, immersive experience.
  • Choose how you show up: If keeping your camera off supports your participation, that’s okay! Show up however works best for you – bring snacks, move around, get cozy!

What past workshop participants had to say

“Jeanne created a warm and inviting space to let our creative juices flow while giving us insightful prompts. It was really great to be invited to find our own flow and pace while challenging ourselves. It was a great balance. As a horsewoman I loved connecting to the horse’s essence and was surprised how I was able to do that in an online format.”
- online workshop participant

“Jeanne is a WONDERFUL facilitator. I love how she blends creativity and horses together. When I took her workshop, my inner child was able to come out and express herself. Jeanne’s soft, no-judgement approach allows space for curiosity and play. The different exercises she led us through opened up more compassion and gentleness for myself, which was so nice to practice being in a space of expression over imperfection. I HIGHLY recommend anything Jeanne does, whether you identify as a creative or not. her workshops can connect you with the joys of your inner child. Thank you Jeanne!”

I've been looking for joy wherever I can... Life and the world continue to be challenging and heavy. Moments of joy sustain me, and art making is one of my go-to ways to find it. (I also like to follow a tip from my partner: "Looking for joy? Have you checked under your cat?") The joy in the curve As any artist can tell you, being an "artist" doesn't mean art making automatically brings you joy. Sometimes we have to give ourselves permission. We have to find ways to bring in the play and the...

Making a lot of art... so what? I made a lot of art this June! Sometimes it’s like that - I churn through paper and am overflowing with ideas. Other times things slow to a trickle. Hanging up art to look at it after a painting session on my birthday. Now in my fourth decade making art, I’m noticing I don’t get as hung up on my pace. If I am making art frequently, I let go of the idea that that means I will keep making art frequently. If I am not making a lot, I don’t assume that means I’m...
