Discover mindful art with horses this Saturday - joyful art strategies to unlock your creativity and connect with horses

Time to register for Saturday's workshop!

There's still time to register for the workshop this Saturday. This offering is especially tailored to artists. Whether you're a professional or hobby artist, this workshop is an opportunity to explore how mindful art practices can help you get unstuck, open to your intuition, and connect more deeply with horses as a subject. If you've attended one of my workshops before, I'd love to have you back!

Online: Spirit of the Horse – for Artists:
Saturday, January 31, 2026, 3-5pm ET • $45
Feeling stuck creatively or overwhelmed by your inner critic? This hands-on session is designed to help you reconnect with ease, curiosity, and joy. Whether horses are your usual subject or brand new to you, you’ll connect with horses in new and surprising ways! For both professional and hobby artists.

What to expect at the workshop:

You'll be guided through a series of short and simple mindful art practices, using photos & videos of horses for inspiration. We'll ground & reflect together along the way. Everything is by invitation, so you can share (or be on camera) only when you are comfortable, and choose to do activities differently if you like! I'll send you a list of the basic materials you need - which you probably already have around the house.

Please spread the word!

An irresistible moment with a mustang One quiet morning in March, I sat down on a shady bench in a pasture. The two mustangs living there seemed undisturbed by my presence, so I pulled out my sketchbook and began to draw them. After a while, Willow - who I had never met before that day - approached me and positioned herself standing over me, her heart center near mine. She softly inspected my drawing and me, and stayed there - soft eye, relaxed body. Click the image to watch the video on...
